(Fort Lauderdale) - Bishop Moore wins the 2015 Boys Volleyball State Championships, thanks to a 4 set effort by the Hornets and their 8 seniors.

The Hornets played Archbishop McCarthy in the finals, losing their first set 22-25, before taking over to win the next three 25-16, 25-15, 25-21.

This is Head Coach Tom Snodgrass’ third state championship with Bishop Moore.

“We went through ups and downs, moments we might not even have gotten out of districts like I said before. It is just such a special group of kids, 8 seniors and they are the ones that decided. They truly decided that they wouldn’t lose, and they took me along for the ride with them,” said Snodgrass after the win.

Timber Creek fell in the semi-finals to Archbishop McCarthy, ending their run at states in the final four. This was the Wolves first time at state under Coach Cameron Stevens.
