Curtis Smith has been named Winter Springs High School's interim head football coach, school Principal Dr. Mickey Reynolds announced today.
Smith succeeds Rodney Brewington who coached the team for the past two seasons. Brewington accepted the head coaching position at South View HS in Hope Mills, NC. Brewington was a defensive standout on South View's 1991 State title team.
Smith is currently the Bears' Associate Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator and willl assume all administrative and head coaching responsibilities until further notice.
