Even though basketball season is in the books McDonald’s All-American guard Antonio Blakeney continues to rack in the awards.

There was plenty of milk for everyone Thursday afternoon as Oak Ridge sharp shooter Blakeney was recognized as the 2015 Florida Dairy Farmer’s Player of the Year.

The Louisiana State University bound guard averaged 29-points and nearly seven boards this year leading the Pioneers to a 22-7 finish.

Blakeney is the first Mr. Basketball to come out of Oak Ridge high school.

“It was a great honor because I know all the players who have won this award [before],” Blakeney said.

“You know Austin Rivers, Nick Calathes, Brandon Knight, Joel Berry all those guys. So for me to have my name put down in history with them it’s a blessing.”
