Lake Brantley and Winter Springs exchanged the lead four times, but the Patriots ended up on top with a 5-2 win over the visiting Winter Springs Bears on the Bright House Sports Network Game of the Week.

Lake Brantley took the lead in the bottom of the sixth inning with three straight base hits by Griffin Bernardo, Mathias Haywood and Jordan Helms to make the score 5-2.

Bryce Tucker, who was named BHSN Player of the Game, handled the Winter Springs' lineup with ease racking up eight strikeouts. Tucker allowed only one earned run on six hits and two walks over six innings. 

Patriots pitcher Kyle Cross got the win in relief for Lake Brantley. Cross pitched one inning and allowed no runs. 

Winter Springs' Matt Logullo was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed four runs. 

Lake Brantley improves their record to 7-8, while Winter Springs falls to 11-3.
