Trinity Prep wasn't able to overcome the big hole it dug itself into against Bishop Moore, and lost 7-5 after falling behind by five runs in the third inning.

The Saints scored on an RBI singles by junior Ryan Olenick and senior Jackson Furstace in the fourth inning and a two-run home run by Robyn Steenstra in the seventh inning.

Hornets senior SS Pablo Cabrera racked up three RBIs on three hits for Bishop Moore. Cabrera doubled in the first and second innings and singled in the third inning and was named the BHSN Player of the Game.

Chase Pilato recorded the win for the Hornets allowing three runs over 4 innings. Pilato struck out two, walked three and gave up seven hits.

Saints freshman Slade Cecconi was charged with the loss after allowing six runs in three innings, walking two and striking out two.

Bishop Moore jumped out to a first inning lead after two runs cross the plate on an RBI double by Cabrera and an RBI single by Gabe Scavano.

The Hornets scored two runs in both the second and third innings.

After pushing across one run in the top of the third, Trinity Prep faced just a 4-1 deficit. An RBI single by Furstace fueled the Saints attempt at a comeback, but Pilato ended the inning by getting Steenstra to ground out.

Trinity Prep falls to 5-7 on the season, losing their last three games. Bishop Moore improves to 9-2 on the season and swept the Saints after losing their last four games to Trinity Prep.
