The top girls lacrosse teams in Central Florida, as selected by the Bright House Sports Network staff:
FAB 5:
1. Oviedo (9-0) – Lions are the only remaining undefeated team in Central Florida, but will have a huge match against #5 Timber Creek on Friday.
2. Lake Highland Prep (10-1) – Natalie Clark has her Highlanders playing at a high level. The only loss on the ledger came by just one goal to #1 Oviedo.
3. Winter Springs (7-3) – Todd Brock’s Bears move into the top five thanks to 1-goal wins against two previously undefeated teams in #5 Timber Creek, and #4 Olympia.
4. Olympia (10-1) – Titans suffered their first defeat in a high scoring thriller against #3 Winter Springs 18-17.
5. Timber Creek (8-1) – Wolves were knocked from the ranks of the unbeaten by #4 Winter Springs 16-15, but picked up wins against #7 Bishop Moore 11-10, and #8 Lake Brantley 13-7
