2015 Boys Lacrosse Rankings
The top boys lacrosse teams in Central Florida, as selected by the Bright House Sports Network staff:
FAB 5
1. Lake Highland Prep (8-2) – Highlanders lost to nationally rated IMG Academy 15-13, beat Edgewater 16-2, Lovett(GA) 18-12, and Hagerty 20-7.
2. Lake Mary (9-1) – Garrick Robinson’s Rams suffered their first defeat in a difficult road contest against state final four regular Ponte Vedra 12-8. Lake Mary could meet the Sharks again in the postseason. Perhaps the Rams finally catch a break from the FHSAA and earn a home game in what has been a hotly contested series in recent years.
3. Seminole (7-2) – Noles’ only losses have come to #1 Lake Highland, and #2 Lake Mary. Michael Von Kameckes’ crew took out Father Lopez 16-1, and edged a talented #8 Dr. Phillips team 10-9.
4. Lake Brantley (5-1) – Brantley defeated Wekiva 24-9, but lost to Lovett, Georgia 18-9, in a game played at Lake Highland Prep.
5. Bishop Moore (7-2) – Reed Reynolds’ Hornets scored a trio of wins against #6 Winter Park, Melbourne Central Catholic 13-5, and Trinity Prep 18-2
