Bolles advanced to their second state title game in the last three years with a dramatic win over West Shore. After a scoreless 100 minutes, it came down to penalty kicks, with Bolles converting four of their five attempts for the win.

The Wildcats from West Shore nearly took down perennial power Bolles, in their second Final Four appearance in school history. Their best scoring chance came with less than a minute left in regulation, as their offensive pressure increased as the time on the clock decreased. But they were never able to crack Bolles' defense and senior goalkeeper Alex Lucansky.

In penalty kicks, Berny Villarreal, Mikhail Mitiurev, and Alexander Mostovych converted in the first three rounds, while Josh Costa made the game-clinching kick in the fifth round. For West Shore, Robert Madden, Darshan Gayal and Nick Burgess successfully converted their penalty kicks. Goalkeeper Allan Joyner, the only starter remaining from West Shore's 2012 state champion team, made seven saves.

Bolles faces the winner of LaBelle-Gulliver Prep in the 2A Championship on Thursday at 6 PM on Bright House Sports Network (Channel 47/HD1147).
