Orlando City SC announced today it has declined contract options for goalkeepers Tally Hall and Josh Ford, defender Corey Ashe, midfielders Eric Avila and Lewis Neal, and forwards Danny Mwanga, Adam Bedell and Sidney Rivera. In addition, midfielder Tony Cascio’s contract has expired.

Per Club and league policy, additional details were not disclosed.

“We’d like to thank these terrific players for their significant contributions to the Club’s historic first Major League Soccer season,” said Chief Soccer Officer Armando Carneiro. “We wish them the best of luck in their careers moving forward.”

Ashe and Avila will be eligible for Free Agency. Cascio, Ford, Hall, Mwanga and Neal will be eligible to participate in Major League Soccer’s Re-Entry process.

As for the remainder of the squad, the following players were already under contract for 2016: defenders Aurélien Collin, Conor Donovan, David Mateos, Brek Shea, Tommy Redding, Tyler Turner, Rafael Ramos, midfielders Kaká, Cristian Higuita, Estrela, Adrian Winter and Carlos Rivas, and forwards Bryan Róchez and Cyle Larin.

The Club exercised options on goalkeeper Earl Edwards Jr., defenders Luke Boden and Sebastian Hines, midfielders Servando Carrasco, Darwin Cerén, Kevin Molino, and Harrison Heath, and forward Pedro Ribeiro.
