Big time players make big time plays in big time games. It’s a concept simple enough to understand but hard to achieve. West Orange’s Ben Bollinger accomplished the feet in the Warriors playoff win over Apopka last week.

"It was absolutely fantastic, I just saw the stands erupt," said Bollinger. "All my players, all my best friends giving me big hugs, and I just could not have felt any better"

To better understand why Ben felt so good you'd have to go back a few seconds. Up by 7 with a minute left West Orange was in desperate need of a defensive stop. Enter Ben Bollinger. Bollinger’s interception sealed the 21-14 win over Apopka to send the Warriors to the regional finals.

"They threw it out to the bubble, and I was like they don’t usually do that, I saw that kid that was usually supposed to block me just streaking, I was like alright, I got to stay over this kid I know what’s coming. And then he lofted it up, I saw it in the air and I was like this ball is mine, wasn’t going to let anyone else have it, not even my teammates."

"At that point I saw the ball just hanging up in the air," recalled West Orange head coach Bob Head. "I’m like oh my gosh knock it down, but when I saw him pull it in there wasn’t any better feeling at the time."
