In a much anticipated matchup on the regular season finale of the Bright House Sports Network Game of the Week, the fourth ranked Oak Ridge Pioneers knocked off the top ranked Evans Trojans, 83-81 in double overtime.

In front of a capacity crowd at Oak Ridge, the Pioneers jumped out to a 12-2 first quarter lead and cruised to a 39-21 halftime lead led by senior Antonio Blakeney's 22 points.

Trojans bigman and Virginia Tech signee Kerry Blackshear spent most of the first half on the bench after picking up three quick fouls in the first quarter. Evans head coach Matt Turner told his team that they were not out of the game and the Trojans responded in the second half, outscoring Oak Ridge 50-32, eventually taking the lead 60-59 with under three minutes left in the game. Blackshear led the Trojans with 28 points and 11 rebounds while Deloran Oliver added 22 points.

At the end of regulation the score was tied 71-71 and for the first time this season on the BHSN Game of the Week, the game headed to overtime.

Both teams traded buckets and were tied again at 76 forcing a second overtime. LSU signee Blakeney stepped up in the overtime periods and would score the game-winning shot on a putback dunk off of a Nyqwan Murray miss with 5.1 seconds left. Blakeney finished the night with 35 points to lead all scorers and was named the BHSN Game of the Week Player of the Game.

Murray chipped in 16 points to help the Pioneers up their record to 19-5 on the year.

Evans falls to 19-6 with the upcoming district tournament right around the corner.
