For the first time in five years the Holy Trinity Tigers met with crosstown rival Melbourne Bulldogs on the BHSN Game of the Week Wednesday night.

The Tigers jumped out to an early lead, but the Bulldogs battled back in the second quarter to take a 30-27 lead at halftime.

Melbourne was led in the first half by Keith McKenley who finished the night with 12 points and 3 rebounds.

Holy Trinity clawed their way back in the third behind the play off of the bench by senior Skyler Hogan who chipped in 13 points and 4 rebounds. This was the first game back for Hogan after missing the last three weeks with a back injury.

The BHSN Player of the Game was the Tigers Keoni Wallington who led all scorers with 19 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Wallington went on a personal 9-0 run during the fourth quarter to help propel Holy Trinity to the victory, 70-66.

Holy Trinity improves to 16-4 on the season, while Melbourne drops to 13-4.
