At half-time Lake Nona(4-1) senior QB Tucker Israel seemed poised to break the state TD passing record.

With three passing scores and a rushing TD in hand the Clemson commit was met with a running clock in the final 24 minutes and was unable to reach the mark as his team finished Liberty(1-4) off, 49-0.

Israel has a total of 125 TD passes, one shy of the state record currently held by former Jacksonville Bishop Kenny QB John Wolford.

"I'm just really focused on winning games and improving as a team and a player each and every Friday night, the records will come," Israel said.

"If you perform well four days in advance and are ready for the game on Friday then you are going to be prepared and those records will come eventually."

Israel finished with 9-for-15 passing for 230yards, three passing TDs (Ulice Gillard, Deondre Farrior and Mehdi El Attrach) and one rushing.

Lake Nona will host Gateway in week six, Israel's next opportunity to break the state TD passing record.
