The 5th ranked Apopka Blue Darters defeated the 4th ranked West Orange Warriors three sets to two in an 8A-district-2 volleyball rematch on Tuesday night.
The Blue Darters (7-1) took the first set 26-24. The Warriors (11-2) took the next two sets 26-24, and 25-20, only to see Apopka force a 5th and deciding set with a 25-21 decision in set 4.
15 points wasn't enough, as Apopka avenged its' only loss of the season with a 17-15 triumph in the final stanza.
Junior outside hitter Nicole Dominguez led the Darters with 20 kills, and 17 digs. Senior outside hitter Jennifer Cook tallied 16 to pace the Warriors.
