The 17th ranked Orange City University Titans defeated the Lake Brantley Patriots 57-14 in the 8A-district-2 football opener for both teams.

Junior running back Quenell Rutledge galloped for rushing touchdowns of 38, 69, 55, and 50 yards for the Titans (4-0)

Senior Jeremy Diaz accounted for two touchdowns, one on the ground, and one through the air on a 41-yard pass from quarterback Chris Negron in the closing minutes of the second quarter.

The Titans averaged 19 yards per play in the first half, as they built a 43-14 halftime lead. University opened the scoring with a defensive team safety to lead 2-0, never trailed, and never punted.
