Just a week into volleyball workouts and the Winter Springs Bears have another division one player commitment.
Maria McLamb, the team’s libero, made a verbal commitment to play at Florida International University this week, where she will join her sister Adriana.
Last season, as a sophomore McLamb tallied 431 digs.
As a freshman she totaled 479 digs averaging 4.8 digs per set which led her to set a new school record with 36 digs per match.
The junior plans to graduate early in December 2016 to start training in the spring for her first collegiate season.
