On the night that Blake Bortles had his jersey retired and was inducted into the Oviedo High School Sports Hall of Fame his beloved Lions earned a win over Lake Brantley, 28-6.

While the first half was laced with penalties the last two quarters brought five touchdowns.

Oviedo's Jurell Green opened up the third quarter punching in from about 8-yards. He’d then double up in the fourth for a 55-yard run to push the Lions out in front, 14-0.

Nick Carbone then made an 18-yard sprint flying over the goal line in the fourth to continue Oviedo's offensive parade.

With two minutes to go sophomore RB Xandre McCleary rushed in the final touchdown for the home team.

On the final snap of the game Lake Brantley's Jared Bernhardt connected with Raldy Mena to avoid the shutout.
