Over 1200 fans filed into the parking lot of the Oviedo Ale House Friday night to see and get autographs from Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles and running back Storm Johnson.

“We’re huge Oviedo High School fans,” Gentry Hawk said. “I mean my dad graduated from Oviedo, I’ve been a UCF fan… I’m happy to be here and I can’t wait to meet him [Bortles].”

After speaking to the media Bortles, Johnson and Cecil Shorts were introduced on stage, took part in a quick Q&A then were put to work with the sharpies.

“We just knew it was going to be in Oviedo so it’s going to be packed with people wanting Blake," UCF fan Landon Barimo said. "So we just knew to get here early, we came about 2 o’clock. I got a Blake Bortles jersey and I just printed some pictures from the Fiesta Bowl to get signed.”

Bortles and the Jaguars crewed stayed an extra hour and a half to get through the entire line of fans.

“It’s awesome to be able to come out here and reconnect with everybody,” Bortles said. “You know I would have loved to have this opportunity when I was growing up, to have something like this in Oviedo so it’s awesome to be able to give back.
