Thursday morning Florida Dairy Farmers presented Lake Highland Prep’s Joel Berry with his third consecutive player of the year award.

The University of North Carolina bound point guard averaged 24.5 ppg, 7 rebounds, 4.3 assists this season and is the first ever three-time winner in the 32-year history of the Florida Mr. Basketball Award.

“It’s a blessing and an honor to be Mr. Basketball three times,” Berry said. “All the hard work and dedication, coming out working out here at the school and going out on the court and putting my all out there  all has paid off.”
