While Red Lightning and Blue Thunder are making names for themselves on College game day—In Central Florida it is Applesauce, Flash Gordon and Blueberry that are the local sidelines celebrities.
“Probably at this point we’re so spoiled we couldn’t deal without him,” Lake Brantley football coach George Clayton said.
“Sauce is a special guy he’s the hardest working guy in our office, we consider him a coach as well he’s certainly the hardest working coach that we have here.”
Applesauce has been with the Patriots for the past seven seasons; while Blueberry joined the Oviedo Lions this year and Flash Gordon is spending his second season under Bob Head at West Orange.
