The top boys basketball teams in Central Florida, as selected by the Bright House Sports Network staff:

NOTE: These are the final regular season rankings and will not be updated until the conclusion of the state tournament.

1. Dr. Phillips (18-7) – Panthers enter the postseason on a 12-game win streak which includes wins against TFA, Evans and Winter Park.

2. First Academy (21-4) – Royals traded blows with national No. 2 Montverde Academy before falling 67-57 in the finals of the Montverde Academy Invitational Tournament.

3. Evans (20-6) – Trojans lost in double overtime at Oak Ridge but enter the postseason as the No. 1 ranked team in Class 8A.

4. Lake Minneola (21-4) – Final week of the regular season for the Hawks included a win against Osceola and a third place at the Montverde Academy Invitational.

5. Ocoee (21-4) – Knights have already set a school record for victories as they enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed in 8A, District 3.  

6. Oak Ridge (19-6) – Pioneers followed a memorable win against Evans with a forgettable effort in an 81-60 loss to Lakeland at the Stinger Shootout on Saturday.

7. Florida Air Academy (18-4) – Falcons are 17-1 against Florida opponents with the lone loss coming to 3A No. 1 Providence.

8. Oviedo (20-5) – Reigning 7A champs beat Lyman and Lake Mary to finish undefeated in the Seminole Athletic Conference.

9. Edgewater (20-5) – Streaking Eagles have won 13 consecutive games and cracked the latest 6A state rankings.

10. Deltona (21-4) – Wolves, No. 3 in the 6A state rankings, closed the regular season with back-to-back losses against West Orange and Potter’s House Christian.
