Orange City University (8-1,4-1) keeps schools first ever playoff berth intact Friday night defeating Lyman, 27-3.

It took 11 seconds for senior Jeremy Diaz to return the opening kickoff for a 96-yard touchdown for University.

From there the Titans defense forced the Greyhounds (2-6,1-4) to punt away, then followed up with a rushing score by junior running back Jon Boyd.

Midway through the first University led their district foe Lyman, 14-0.

Greyhounds Anthony Perrone put down a 33-yard field goal for Lyman's only score.

Jeremy Diaz had 71-yards rushing, 60-yards receiving and two touchdowns to lead the offensive attack for University.

The Titans will go on to play Lake Mary in Week 10, potentially for the 8A-2 district title.
