For the fourth straight season the Dr. Phillips Panthers and Boone Braves met to decide the district title in girls volleyball at Cypress Creek High School. The fifth-ranked Braves jumped out to an early 15-9 lead in the first set paced by 6 kills from Senior Oakley Attaway and put away the Panthers 25-15.

Boone once again jumped out to an early lead in the third set and cruised to 25-18 sweep. Attaway finished the night with 15 kills and 2 aces while Sawyer led all scorers with 16 kills and 4 blocks.
