The Holy Trinity Episcopal Tigers defeated the Orangewood Christian Rams 47-6 in a 3A-district-3 football matchup on Friday night.

Senior quarterback Daniel Welch threw six touchdown passes in the first half to force a running clock the rest of the way.

Senior wide receiver London Gowins got the points party started on the Tigers' first possesion, scoring on an end-around from 37 yards out to make it 7-0.

Gowins also had a touchdown reception for Holy Trinity (3-3), while senior tight end J'von Butler and freshman Jashaun Corbin each had two touchdown catches.

Trailing 33-0 after just one quarter, the Rams (1-5)  got on the board in the second on an Ethan Bullocks 7-yard touchdown pass to senior Boston College commit Jimmy Martin.
