Two women were injured in a drive-by shooting incident Sunday evening in Apopka, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
- Incident occurred on E. 13th Street
- Suspects in car outside mobile home fired shots at those inside
- Victims suffered non life-threatening wounds
Deputies say the incident occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. at a mobile home on the 600 block of E 13th Street. The two victims — both women — were inside the mobile home when a car began circling.
While doing so, occupants in the car fired several rounds into the mobile home. Each victim suffered a non life-threatening gunshot wound and were transported to ORMC for treatment.
Deputies have two suspects in the case in custody at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
