It's the weekend! Let's see what the forecast will look like for Central Florida:

  • Warm, partly cloudy Saturday night
  • Rain chances increase Sunday

It was another hot and humid day with temperatures Saturday afternoon in the mid to low 90s and heat index numbers in triple digits.  There were a few showers and storms that developed through the afternoon and evening.

Rain chances will increase for Sunday as high humidity sticks around.  In fact, high rain chances will continue for the next several days.

An isolated storm may linger past sunset tonight.  The rest of the night will be partly cloudy and warm with temperatures falling into the mid to upper 70s.

With more moisture moving into Central Florida, high rain chances are in the forecast for the next several days. Expect activity to start popping up around lunchtime on Sunday and continuing through the afternoon and evening.

Lightning and heavy rain will once again be the main threats with anything that develops. Temperatures will be hot and humid, climbing into the low 90s with triple digit heat index numbers. Similar forecast for the start of our work week.

In the tropics, no tropical development is expected in the next five days.
