A 3-year-old child died Thursday night after she was hit by a pickup truck leaving a driveway, Orlando police said.
The incident happened at a residence at 33 South Solandra Ave.
According to police, Hector Rodriquez-Mejia, 32, was leaving the driveway in a Dodge Ram pickup truck when the child was hit.
The child, identified as Allison Rodriquez, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police, Rodriquez-Meija, was not aware the child was near the vehicle.
The incident is still being investigated, police said. No additional information has been released.
