The Miami Dolphins, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Jacksonville Jaguars, as well as the foundation, are coming together to help the victims’ families and survivors of the Pulse shooting attack that left 49 dead and dozens injured, stated a NFL press release

“Our hearts go out to the victims and their families. This was a deeply disturbing and tragic event, one that has had reverberations across the entire country,” said NFL Commissioner Rodger Goodell. “We are encouraged by the strength and resilience of the Orlando community and will continue to look for ways to lend our support.”

Glazer Family Foundation Co-President Darcie Glazer Kassewitz, who owns the Buccaneers, Jaguars’ team owner Shad Khan and Dolphins’ owner Stephen Ross all conveyed their condolences to those affected by the attack and expressed their support to Orlando.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, who formed the OneOrlando Fund, stated in the press release that the city has begun to recover from the shooting and is grateful for the help of the NFL.

“The support of partners like the NFL and the NFL’s three Florida-based teams sends a signal to our city that we are not in this alone. The money we are raising will provide a way to help us respond to the needs of our community, now and in the time to come. Words cannot begin to express how grateful we are for the outpouring of support from across the globe,” Dyer wrote
