The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing Citra man, who they believe maybe endangered.

- McDowell's friends became concerned after statements he made

Paul Leon McDowell, 40, was last seen Wednesday, June 1, at his home on 3597 NE 162 Place, deputies said.
His friends were concerned about his well-being after he made unknown statements to them and he walked off in an unknown direction, deputies stated.
McDowell is described as a white male who is 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing camouflage shorts and no shirt, according to deputies.
Authorities advise anyone with information to McDowell’s whereabouts to call 911.
