Marion County deputies are looking for the person who shot a man Sunday morning after he made a withdrawal from the ATM.

The incident happened just after 6 a.m. at the Wells Fargo located at 9268 Southeast Maricamp Road.

The victim told deputies he entered his car after making a withdrawal when a man approached him with a gun.

When the victim attempted to drive away, the suspect fired several shots, deputies said. The victim was hit twice but was able to get away.  He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 18 and 21, 5-feet-10 and 130 pounds.  According to deputies, he was wearing a black or dark gray hoodie and baggy denim pants.

Investigators with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes unit are actively looking for the shooter.
