One person is dead after crash along County Road 484 in Marion County.
The crash happened just after 9 p.m. Saturday night.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 2010 Hyundai Elantra was traveling westbound but entered the eastbound lane into the path an oncoming Honda Odyssey.
The front of the Elantra collided with the front of the Odyssey. The driver of the Elantra, Duris Purdy, 89, of Ocala, was taken to Ocala Regional Medical Center where he later died.
The driver and passenger of the Odyssey were taken to West Marion Community Hospital with minor injuries.
FHP said charges are pending.
