A fisherman on the Intracoastal Waterway found a body snagged in one of his crab traps Monday, Daytona Beach Police said.

The man's body was found in the water between the International Speedway Boulevard and Orange Avenue bridges, they said. It appears to be a white man in his early 70s and was fully clothed.

The body showed no visible signs of trauma and may have been in the water less than 24 hours. They don't suspect foul play, police said. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

His name is being held pending next-of-kin notification.
