Here's what you need to know about Central Florida's weather for Saturday night and the rest of the weekend:

  • Most rain moves out by daybreak
  • Winds will remain strong
  • Gusts to bring in colder air

Temperatures were in the mid to upper 40s to start our Saturday. We had plenty of sunshine early, but clouds quickly moved in. A stalled front over south Florida kicked some showers in our direction this afternoon, and we'll have an increased chance of rain through early tonight. Temperatures were a bit of a mix across Central Florida with low 70s in Brevard County and upper 50s farther north.

Cloudy skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours. Showers will continue as low pressure develops along the stalled boundary to our southeast and moves north.

The rain will move out by daybreak Sunday, but a few clouds will stick around. Winds will be high out of the northwest, ushering in some colder air. Temperatures will be chilly Sunday, dropping into the mid to upper 40s.

After starting out a bit cloudy Sunday, we’ll see plenty of sunshine for the afternoon. Winds will remain strong, with gusts over 30 mph possible. High temperatures will climb only into the mid to upper 50s. Lots of sunshine and cooler temperatures stick around into early next week.

Ocean conditions improved slightly today but will deteriorate again tomorrow with high winds. There is a small craft advisory and offshore gale warning.
