More than 100 job opportunities are opening up in Seminole County thanks to the expansion of a company.
Convergys, an international customer service company, opened its new 16,000-square-foot building in Lake Mary Thursday. The company will be hiring 155 new employees over the next three years.
The firm has locations in 31 countries around the world and decided to expand its existing Lake Mary location.
“We found Central Florida has a very rich talent pool, so its allowed us to continually grow our campus with the talent we’re looking for to support Convergys’s new client here in Lake Mary,” said Jeff Ilano from Convergys.
The company will also be specifically looking to help veterans as it fills the newly opened positions.
