A Poinciana man was arrested Tuesday for possession of child pornography.

The Osceola County Sheriff's Office said the investigation began in November when detectives identified a computer with an IP address that was linked to child pornography.

On Tuesday detectives executed a search warrant at a home on Tamarind Parke Lane and took into evidence various electronic devices.

Detectives said they questioned 70-year-old Emiliano Estrada-Castro and said he cooperated with the investigation. Based on his statements and the evidence, Castro was arrested and charged with 8 counts of possession of child pornography and 2 counts of promoting photo/movie sexual performance of a child.

Investigators said the investigation is on-going, with additional charges pending.
