A Marion County man was killed late Monday night in a single-car crash, according got the Florida Highway Patrol.
It happened at 11:23 p.m. on West Anthony Road.
Troopers said Vincent Oneal Foster, 28, of Anthony was traveling northbound in a 2000 Dodge Neon on West Anthony Road approaching a curve and lost control of his car.
The car traveled off the roadway onto the shoulder and collided with a utility pole causing it to break in half. Troopers said the car then collided with a tree. He was not wearing a seat belt, FHP said.
Foster was pronounced dead at the scene by Marion County Fire Rescue.
