A mother and daughter were arrested on prostitution charges Wednesday after Osceola deputies say they ran an online prostitution business.

Deputies said the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Enforcement Team located an advertisement the women posted online and began an undercover investigation.

The Sheriff’s Office said agents made arrangements to meet with the suspects at a residence on Beau Rivage Court in Poinciana. Agents said when they arrived they were solicited for sex by 49-year-old Tracy Mowatt of Kissimmee and 28-year-old Leslie Mowatt of Winter Park.

Investigators said while they were in the residence, agents found cocaine and drug paraphernalia and three children ages 5 and 10 years old in a back bedroom.

The mother and daughter were both arrested and charged with prostitution and child neglect, deputies said.  Deputies said Leslie Mowatt was also charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Sheriff’s Office said the Department of Children and Families was notified and the children were placed in the custody of relatives.
