A man has been charged with indecent exposure after police say he was found naked on the Main Trail Bridge in Ormond Beach.
The Ormond Beach Police Department said that on Feb. 1, police were called by a woman who was out jogging and saw a man, later identified as 28-year-old Brandon Smith, standing on the bridge wearing nothing but sneakers and performing a sex act on himself.
Based on similar incidents that happened in 2012 and 2014, Ormond Beach Police detectives created a photo lineup that included Smith, who had been identified as the suspect in the prior incidents.
Investigators said the woman positively identified Smith as the suspect she saw Feb. 1.
Police obtained a warrant, and Smith was arrested Feb. 4 for the misdemeanor offense of indecent exposure while in public.
