Two Sanford Police Department K-9 officers received new ballistic vests Tuesday.
The nonprofit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. and the Blue Alert Foundation of Venice, Florida provided the vests to K-9s Edo and Aramis.
The bullet and stab protective vests cost $950 each.
