The University of Central Florida's campus library has reopened after Orange County firefighters isolated a reported odor that prompted an evacuation of the building to an overheated dehumidifier.

The John C. Hitt Library was evacuated around 1:30 p.m. It reopened shortly before 3 p.m.

Fire investigators said no smoke was seen, and no one was injured.

Firefighters said they have isolated the issue, and UCF police have notified the state fire marshal's office.
