Orlando police are searching for two suspects who robbed an Orlando IHOP Monday night and put the employees and customers in a freezer.

The robbery happened around 10 p.m. at the IHOP located at 647 E. Colonial Drive.

As diners ate, police said the two suspects came in with handguns and demanded money. The robber’s grabbed cash from the business and customers, pushed them into the walk-in freezer and then sped away in a car.

Orlando police released surveillance images of the suspects, in hopes of catching the men, whose ages are unknown. They were both wearing dark hoodies and gloves. One of the suspects wore a bandana to cover his face, while the other pulled the hood from his sweatshirt tight to conceal his face.

No one was injured in the armed robbery. If you know the men depicted in the photos, or anything about the robbery, you’re asked to call Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS (8477).

At this time, Orlando Police is not sure if these two suspects are involved in another other recent robberies, including one three weeks ago when three men, dressed in all black clothing and ski masks, robbed an Orlando Pizza Hut. Employees in that case were also forced into the walk-in freezer as the robbery took place.
