One person died Sunday afternoon after a van crashed into a home in Seminole County.
The incident happened around 2:25 p.m. in a gated neighborhood on River Tree Circle.
Lt. Alicia Keyes with the Seminole County Fire Rescue said a neighbor called 911 because he saw a car on fire.
When crews arrived they found a vehicle on fire right next to a structure. Keyes said the side of the home caught fire. The attic also saw damage.
Crews found a deceased man in the car, Keyes said.
She said no one was inside the home at the time of the fire. The Florida Highway Patrol and State Marshall are currently investigating the incident.
