This amazing video gives you a look at Australia's Great Barrier Reef from a never-before-seen point-of-view: on the back of a turtle.

The World Wildlife Fund recently released video from a turtle outfitted with a Go-Pro camera.

The video is intended to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the reef. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority said ocean warming is increasing coral bleaching, which leads to increased susceptibility to disease. Farm runoff is also causing water pollution, which is hurting water quality.

The reef is home to almost 6,000 species.
