It looks like Budweiser is no longer the King of Beers.

Anheuser-Busch Inbev, the owner of Budweiser and Bud Light, said Thursday that sales of its two top beers have continued to fall "in the low single digits" in the United States in the second quarter despite a ton of marketing for both brands.

Craft beer may be partly responsible for the fizzling popularity of Budweiser and Bud Light.

The sales of craft beers rose 16 percent in the first quarter of 2015, according to figures from the Brewers Association.

Anheuser-Busch Inbev is taking notice, too.

The company has been on a microbrew shopping spree in the past few years, spending about $200 million buying craft breweries in the last couple of years.
