The Altamonte Springs Police Department is looking for a man who they say fired several shots Wednesday night at a man who is dating his ex-girlfriend.
Police are looking for 23-year-old Ellis Leon McCray who is wanted on charges of attempted homicide and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Investigators say at approximately 11:15 p.m., McCray attempted to shoot the current boyfriend of his ex-girlfriend at her apartment complex, located at 536 Orange Drive in the City of Altamonte Springs.
Police said McCray fired multiple rounds at the victim as he was attempting to enter his vehicle. The victim was not hit and McCray fled the scene prior to police arriving.
