An 18-year-old man was injured after he was shot following a fight Tuesday afternoon in Palm Coast, deputies said.

The shooting happened around 4 p.m. along Lewisdale Lane near Lewis Drive.

A witness in the area said a group of males were seen fighting outside a home. The victim was found in the roadway.

The teenager was airlifted to UF Health Jacksonville with gunshot wounds to his abdomen, a report states. The teenager remained hospitalized Wednesday with serious injuries, deputies said.

It's unclear who the shooter was as deputies received reports that two vehicles were involved in the incident, including a vehicle that was reported stolen Monday out of Palm Coast. That vehicle was later located on the 40 block of Bunker Hill Drive in Palm Coast.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Flagler County Sheriff's Office at 386-586-4801 or Crime Stoppers at 888-277-8477 (TIPS).
