Here's what you need to know for Central Florida's weather for Monday and the week ahead:

  • Quiet Monday evening
  • More heavy rain on Tuesday

Showers will continue to be light and sparse overnight, with partly cloudy conditions through Tuesday morning. Lows will be in the mid- to upper 70s.

Scattered showers and storms will build by early Tuesday afternoon. Some isolated heavy downpours of over 1 inch possible. Temperatures will climb to within a few degrees of our normal high of 92, mostly in the upper 80s. Tuesday night will be drier, but the warm and muggy conditions will remain.

As we move into the rest of the workweek, we will see our rain chances decrease slightly, bringing sunnier skies to Central Florida. Highs will remain at around 90, and lows will stay in the mid- to upper 70s.

There is no development in the tropics right now, and we expect it to remain that way over the next few days.
