An Orlando woman who works at a car rental lot at Orlando International Airport is now accused of stealing those cars.

The Orlando Police Department said Stacey Seda had multiple Hertz cars parked in the Bellagio apartment complex off Semoran Boulevard where she lived. She was arrested on June 30 at the complex. According to police, a Dodge Challenger, Toyota Sienna, Toyota RAV4 and Chevrolet Camaro were confiscated.

The arrest report also shows Seda was in charge of inventory at the Hertz counter and could manipulate the inventory. The report also said she could hide vehicles that had been returned from rental contracts. She also had an access card that allowed her to bypass security.

We tried to get comment from Seda, but no one answered her door. Her neighbors did talk.

Kyra Miralles saw the cars being confiscated during the arrest.

"They had a K9 unit when I was walking my dog and they started barking so I didn’t know what was going on," Miralles said. "The police officers waved and they kept it moving. They were here all day probably from 2 in the afternoon until 10 at night."

“That is very shocking. I can’t even believe that. You wouldn’t expect that over here," said Tremon Jones, who lives in the complex.

Police said Seda would allow her friends and boyfriend to drive the vehicles. They arrested two of her friends driving the RAV4. Seda is being charged with grand theft and scheme to defraud. The manager of the Hertz counter said he could not comment on the incident. As of Thursday evening, Seda was still in jail.
