The precautionary boil water notice that was issued for several Marion County communities has been rescinded, officials said Thursday.
The alert was issued Tuesday for customers in the Majestic Oaks, Bent Tree, Jasmine Park, Harvest Meadows, and the Boyd and Pidgeon Park communities.
The water was determined to be safe to drink following the standard bacteriological survey.
Residents in the areas are being notified by door hanger and/or phone call.
