As work continues for the I-4 Ultimate project, two major ramps in downtown Orlando will be closed permanently starting Sunday night.

The exit ramp to Ivanhoe Boulevard will be closed starting at 10 p.m. The ramp is closing to widen I-4. The alternate routes for the exit are Princeton Street and Amelia Street.

The entrance ramp from South Street will be shutting down also, but not until the second week of July.

Both of the ramps are on the eastbound side of I-4.

A Bridge District will emerge under the I-4 overpass in Downtown Orlando as part of the I-4 Ultimate Construction project, according to the Mayor’s Office.

Once complete, the Bridge district will include improved architecture and design features including aesthetic lighting, artwork and green space and creating a new Downtown amenity.
